Corel aftershot pro v2 software# Corel aftershot pro v2 Pc# Corel aftershot pro v2 free# Helicon Filter - this is a unique - yet different style of RAW converter. Their RAW conversions maintain the distinct color tonality of various cameras and I periodically use this one.ħ. Zoner Photo Studio - another program that has grown in time and offers tons of features. Corel aftershot pro v2 software# They have different versions of their software and like many, are now going towards a subscription scenario.Ħ. ACDsee - these folks have been around for quite some time and as a result, their interface hosts tons of features. As of late (past year or so), the updates have been few and far between - but the quality of the conversions are outstanding, in particular with Fuji X-Trans files.ĥ. Photo Ninja - now here's a program that has been around for a long while. Cyberlink Photo Director - another advanced program that has tons of features and is fairly inexpensive. I've found the quality of the conversions to be outstanding, IMO.ģ. Corel aftershot pro v2 free# PT Photo Editor - there is both a free version and an inexpensive, yet advanced version that has an almost exact Lightroom style interface. The interface takes some getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be impressed:Ģ. RAW Therapee - a free, advanced and excellent converter. Here are a few that I've found to be quite useful, with some using almost the exact same interface as Lightroom. Of course, there are other choices out there. So I'm going to continue to use Lightroom and ACR as my default go-to RAW converters. Heck, for me, with the release of Iridient X-Transformer, I can not create wonderful DNG files that when imported into Lightroom and/or ACR, turn RAF files into much better scenarios than previously. If you're looking for software that handles Fuji X files in a superb manner, then the Corel won't be it as there are many other software choices out there. But then again, it comes back to 'being accustomed to.'īut if Corel After Shot Pro piques your interest, the cost is relatively affordable, so why not give it a try. With regards to the quality of RAW conversions, this comes down to subjective preferences.Īlthough I keep up with After Shot 3 (meaning doing updates), it does not compare with how Lightroom or ACR deliver results such as color tonality, being able to handle NR and DR effectively, and so much more. Try contacting anyone at Corel with a problem - good luck. With regards to the Corel software, there are many options available and this converter is not expensive (well, when compared to others). Creature of habit - well yes, to a certain degree. And yes, I have Corel Aftershot Pro 3, but it is relegated to rarely being used.Īnd I've tried them all - but I have to be honest in that no matter what new program I happen to try that comes down the pike, I invariably come back to Lightroom or ACR. Corel aftershot pro v2 Pc# Right now I have a dozen different RAW converters on my PC - crazy, I know. The key to the 'being accustomed' part is that most of us are creatures of habit with regards to control layouts and what we've been used to seeing with our RAW conversions. Then of course there are the likes of Capture One, DXO Optics Pro, Photo Ninja, PT Photo Editor, Cyberlink's Photo Director, ACDsee Pro, and so many more. Their control layout and GUI interface is so ingrained into our workflow that if often becomes difficult to accept something else. I'd venture to say that most on this and other forums have been accustomed to using products such as Lightroom and/or Photoshop ACR. What I mean when I say 'what you've become accustomed to,' is that most of us have become accliminated to using a particular RAW converter - with many of us having used the same converter for a long time. If you like the workflow of ASP, take a look at Rawtherapee, much better output than ASP. The results are excellent, very fast especially if have openCL. I keep it up to date since I have a v3 license, but I won't be for v4 if it every comes. Processing is OK, but not good enough to compare with the competition.Updates are slow, some 9 month without any update. With 3.3, the crash a re lot less often, but they are still a regular occurrence. I started with Bibble v4, then v5 then it was Corel and things went down the hill very quickly. You didn't say which distribution, but a big thumb down. Wondering if anyone has any experience good or bad. Amazingly it has first class Linux support, and after only 3 hours of messing with LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and some weird symlinks, it works. Seems like a decent bit of kit.įormerly Bibble (remember that thing?).

#Supandi sugar story full In recent years, people have become more health conscious, so the food industry often hides sugar on food labels by calling it by different names. “We also consume the most sugar, averaging 140 pounds of sugar per year. “America is considered the sickest developed country,” Friedman continues. “In addition to causing cavities, high-sugar diets have been associated with an increased risk of many diseases, including heart disease, the number one cause of death worldwide, depression, obesity, diabetes and cancer. #Supandi sugar story full “Refined white sugar is digested rapidly, which is why you typically don’t feel full and the reason one donut leaves you wanting two and then three,” says Friedman. This refined white sugar is, of course, super unhealthy. The juice is then filtered through a bed of carbon, and it’s crystallized in a vacuum to produce sugar crystals.” Then phosphoric acid, calcium hydroxide or carbon dioxide is added to absorb impurities. To make white sugar, sulfur dioxide is added to cane juice before it gets evaporated - this gas bleaches the juice white. White refined sugar comes from sugar cane or sugar beets. “The effect on the body and its overall health depends on the type of sugar you’re eating, either natural or refined. For those who put artificial sweeteners in their morning java, this puts a whole new meaning to the phrase, ‘Killer cup of coffee.’ Put simply, artificial sweeteners aren’t good for you and don’t help aid in weight loss, so why bother?”Ģ) White Sugar: “Sugar, in all forms, is a simple carbohydrate that the body converts into glucose to use for energy,” Friedman explains. Chemicals that are used to manufacture artificial sweeteners include acetone, which is also used in nail polish remover benzene, a carcinogen found in gasoline toluene, which is used in glues and paints methanol, a poisonous wood alcohol that’s also used in antifreeze and windshield washer fluid and of course, the ingredient I love to death, formaldehyde, the chemical used to embalm dead bodies. “Plus, artificial sweeteners are formulated with an array of toxic chemicals that have been linked to ailments like depression, arthritis, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease and even cancer. So how exactly do these fake sugars make us fat? “Artificial sweeteners trick the brain into thinking you’ve consumed sugar, which can lead to more cravings and ultimately a higher sugar intake,” Friedman says. Considering, on average, diet soft drink consumers drink five sodas a day, it’s no wonder obesity has become such an epidemic.” However, research shows that they actually stimulate appetite and contribute to obesity: A study performed at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio found that participants who drink diet soft drinks containing artificial sweeteners increase their risk of obesity by 41 percent for every diet soft drink they consume. “People turn to these artificial sugar alternatives, which are sold in blue ( aspartame ), yellow ( sucralose ) and pink ( saccharin ) packets, to keep from gaining weight. “This may come to you as no sweet surprise, but America has been duped into believing that artificial sweeteners are healthier than sugar,” Friedman explains. With that, let’s get to the ranking, starting with the absolute worst one for you…ġ) Artificial Sugars: Once again, this is the least healthy item on our list. So yeah, sugar is straight-up awful for you. In fact, the ‘ Twinkie Defense ’ has been argued in many court cases as being the cause of ‘diminished mental capacity’ and been blamed for violent crimes.” Too much sugar can even alter the mind and cause a strong association with violence. “Fast forward to over a century later and science reveals that sugar causes the brain to react in the same way it does with cocaine addiction. “In 1907, the chief of the Philadelphia Bureau of Health put cravings for sugar in the same category as alcohol,” Friedman continues. Everything from obesity, diabetes and heart disease to ADHD and cancer has been linked to sugar consumption.” While most of them have conflicting ideas when it comes to diet, exercise and nutrition, they all share one common belief: Sugar is a leading cause of disease. To that end, Friedman also stresses the fact that sugar is unhealthy, period: “For 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of interviewing today’s leading health experts, doctors and scientists for my syndicated radio show, To Your Good Health Radio.
